Truck Fire Quickly Knocked Down on Chestnut Street

Danbury, Conn. — December 1 — Danbury Fire Department Units were sent to the East Liberty Street neighborhood at 10:23 p.m. due to an unidentified fire. When the crews arrived at the Chestnut Street location, they discovered a burning truck in the rear lot. B Platoon was able to immediately contain the fire by deploying handlines. There were no documented injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Danbury Fire Marshal's Office.
