Elmira Heights, N.Y. — October 26 — The Elmira Heights Fire Department has sponsored a VFIS Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Instructor Level course, marking a significant advancement in its safety and training initiatives. Select members who have earned this certification are now able to teach Emergency Vehicle Operator Classes internally, offering EVOC-equivalent instruction right in the department.
