Findley Lake, N.Y. — October 17 — The Findley Lake Volunteer Fire Department teamed up with nearby departments on Friday to help the Township and Ripley Fire Department with water hauling and water supply operations. Water was delivered to the scene via tanker shuttles, guaranteeing a steady supply for fighting the fire. Departments assisting included Ashville, Chautauqua, East Dunkirk, Sherman, Westfield, Sheridan, North Lake, Cassadaga, and Hanover Center, along with members of the Ripley Fire District.
