Baltic, Conn. — October 24 —In case of an emergency, Baltic Fire Engine Co. #1 is reminding locals to call 911 directly instead of leaving a message at the firehouse. Although the department has noticed a rise in messages pertaining to potential incidents, voicemail is not continuously monitored.
