Baltic, Conn. — October 20 —Training on patient extrication and vehicle stabilization was conducted by members of Baltic Fire Engine Co. #1 on Monday evening . After practicing securing a vehicle to prevent movement and guarantee safety on the scene, crews used standard rescue tools to carefully remove a simulated patient.

Members were able to practice practical coordination, communication, and safety procedures to effectively manage an entrapped-occupant situation by running both components together.
