Franklin Square, N.Y. — October 27 — Earlier this afternoon, the Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department was dispatched for two separate mutual-aid assignments within neighboring districts. Engine 716 responded first to assist the Malverne Fire Department at a scene involving two garages on fire along Wolf Avenue.

Shortly afterward, Ambulance 7151 was sent to aid the Lakeview Fire Department at a house fire on Orlando Avenue. Crews worked efficiently alongside host departments to bring both incidents under control.
