Jay, NY - On Saturday, October 28th, the Keeseville Fire Department and the Clinton County Fireman’s Association held memorial services for past Chief Harley Roberts at the Keeseville Fire Station. Chief Roberts, as a last request, asked that his funeral urn be escorted from Keeseville to the Peru and the Au Sable Forks Fire Stations and then back to Keeseville. These three Fire Departments are where Chief Roberts spent many hours during his career, in training and in fighting fire. The escort for Chief Roberts was provided by Keeseville E-231, S-235, Peru E-273, S-278 and Au Sable Forks E-111.
