Today, the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks and honored the 343 FDNY members who made the Supreme Sacrifice that day, as well as the FDNY members, active and retired, who have since died from World Trade Center-related illnesses. The ceremony will be held at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park (FerryHawks Stadium) on Staten Island.
