Cundy's Harbor, ME - All three Harpswell fire departments, supported by mutual aid companies from neighboring Brunswick and West Bath, responded Wednesday to battle an active structure fire along Harpswell Neck Road.
Emergency units were alerted on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, for a reported structure fire located on Harpswell Neck Road, just north of the Mountain Road intersection. First-arriving companies confirmed a working incident, prompting an immediate escalation for regional apparatus and water supply assets.
Cundy’s Harbor Volunteer Fire Department joined fellow local agencies—including Orr's and Bailey Islands Fire Department (OBIFD) and Harpswell Neck Fire and Rescue—alongside outside mutual aid from the Brunswick Fire Department and West Bath Fire Department.
Responding personnel established incident command, initiated fire suppression operations, and worked collaboratively across the fireground to manage water shuttles and bring the blaze under control.
