Ira Fire Department Hosts Scouts for First Aid and Fire Safety Night.

Cato, N.Y.—October 28— The Ira Volunteer Fire Department, located at 12591 State Route 176, opened its doors to Boy Scout Troop 50 for an evening focused on first aid and fire safety education.

During the visit, firefighters introduced the Scouts to basic first aid techniques and provided a guided tour of the department’s apparatus and equipment. Members explained how tools are used in real emergency situations and emphasized the importance of preparedness and teamwork in public safety.
