Deposit, N.Y. — October 25 — The Deposit Fire Department is honored to honor two of its own for their recent professional accomplishments on this Firefighter Friday. After completing basic training successfully, Firefighter M. Schloss joined the US Navy as an E-1 Constructionman Recruit. Also being honored is Fire Lieutenant M. Dawson, who recently completed her training and has been appointed as a trooper with the New York State Police.
