Wyoming Fire Officers Attend Mayday Training

October 23, 2025 — Two members of the Wyoming Hook & Ladder Company, Inc. took part in a specialized training session titled “Commanding the Mayday” Thursday evening at the Wyoming County Fire Training Center.
Safety Officer Jack Moore and Assistant Chief Jeff Pietrzykowski represented the department during the course, which focused on incident command procedures and strategies for managing firefighter emergencies.
The department expressed gratitude to DFC Grahmm for leading an informative and engaging class, noting that continuous training is essential to firefighter safety and effective emergency response.
“We look forward to more sessions like this,” the department said in a statement.
