Gallatin, Pa.—October 1, 2025: In a joint training session with Monessen Fire Department No.1, the Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department taught forcible-entry techniques, which are crucial for fireground operations. Both departments' crews split up into two groups and rotated through stations where they practiced politely entering, removing drop bars and window bars, forcing inward and outward-swinging doors, and defeating padlocks.
