October 15, 2025 - Girl Scout Troops 40965 and 40925 recently visited the East Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Company for an exciting and educational experience.

During their visit, the Scouts learned about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and the responsibilities of being a firefighter — key steps toward earning their Merit Badges.

Firefighters guided the girls through the fire station, showcased the trucks and gear, and answered a variety of thoughtful questions.

The East Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Company expressed pride in supporting these young leaders as they build knowledge and confidence to help keep their communities safe.
