Single-Vehicle Crash at Main Street and Summerhill Road Prompts Emergency Response

Spotswood, NJ - On October 24, 2025, at approximately 16:38 hours, the Spotswood Fire Department (SFD) was dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Summerhill Road following a single-vehicle crash. Chief 71, Deputy 71, Rescue Engine 71-4, and Ladder 71-9 responded to the incident.
All vehicle occupants had self-extricated prior to the fire department’s arrival and were evaluated by Spotswood Emergency Medical Services. SFD personnel remained on the scene for several hours before turning the area over to JCP&L for necessary repairs.
