Millersburg, Pa.—October 16— The Millersburg Fire Company, located at 325 Center Street, opened its doors to Millersburg Elementary students for a full day of fire-safety education as part of Fire Prevention Week.

Students in grades 1 through 4 visited the firehouse for a guided tour led by Chief Snyder and firefighters, learning about fire-safety basics, escape planning, and the role of smoke alarms in protecting families. The visit also included an up-close look at the department’s apparatus and tools used during emergency response.
