October 22, 2025 — The Frankford Township Fire Department, established in 1948, is asking the community — especially families of former department leaders — to help preserve its history.

The department is creating a dedicated “Past Chiefs” wall to honor those who have served in the role, but noted that over the years, much of its historical record has not been properly preserved. To begin rebuilding that history, they are asking family members of past chiefs to submit photographs for display.

A headshot-style photo is preferred, and if available, an image of the chief in department uniform would be especially appreciated. However, any clear photo will be considered.

Those with photos to contribute are asked to email them to:

president@frankfordtownshipfiredepartment.org

The department thanked the community in advance for helping ensure that the service and leadership of its past chiefs are properly remembered.
