Swissvale Fire Assists at North Braddock Structure Fire on North Avenue

Swissvale, Pa. — October 23: A structure fire on North Avenue prompted the Swissvale Fire Department to respond to a first-alarm assignment just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday to help the North Braddock Fire Department. More than ten fire companies had to respond to the fire, which involved two duplex buildings. For a number of hours, crews worked to contain and put out the fire. No significant injuries were reported.
