Swissvale, Pa. — October 19:In order to maintain operational readiness and skill proficiency, the Swissvale Fire Department attended its semi-annual structural firefighting training at the Washington County Fire Academy. Crews practiced incident command, apparatus operations, hose line advancement, fire suppression, and search and rescue techniques throughout the day as they rotated through several live-fire scenarios.
