Harrisburg, Pa. — October 5, 2025 — The Colonial Park Fire Company #1 hosted its annual open house to kick off Fire Prevention Month, welcoming residents for a day focused on safety education and community engagement.

Families learned about home fire safety, practiced using a hose, watched firefighters demonstrate gear operations, and enjoyed activities promoting awareness and prevention. The event also included rides in the tower bucket and fire-safety presentations for all ages.
