Harrisburg, Pa. — October 8, 2025 — The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire participated in a schoolwide fire drill this week, supporting staff and students in practicing safe evacuation procedures and reinforcing fire-safety awareness.

Firefighters observed the drill, provided feedback to school officials, and spoke with students about home and school fire safety. Afterward, students toured a Harrisburg fire engine and learned about the tools and gear firefighters use during emergency response.
