Homeowner Extinguishes Fire Before Fire Crews Arrive on Buck Run Road

Sadsbury, PA - On 13 October at approximately 15:07, the Sadsburyville Fire Company, along with mutual aid partners, was dispatched to assist Station 37 (Modena Fire Company) with a reported house fire in the 200 block of Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township.


Engine 31 responded with a crew of four. Upon arrival, command reported that there was no active fire, as the homeowner had already extinguished it. The incident commander then scaled back the assignment, holding the response to units from Stations 37, 44, and 41. Engine 31 was subsequently released from the scene.
