A head-on collision involving two dirt bikes prompted a multi-agency emergency response and the recall of off-duty firefighters after two juvenile riders sustained serious injuries.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on October 20, 2026, Littleton Fire Rescue and the Littleton Police Department were dispatched to private property off Slate Ledge Road in Littleton, New Hampshire. Initial reports to Grafton County Dispatch indicated that two patients were unresponsive. Lieutenant Piscitelli requested a general alarm to recall off-duty full-time and on-call firefighters, with Ambulances 2 and 3, Car 2 and Engine 1 assigned to the response.

Emergency medical personnel began advanced life support treatment for both patients. Deputy Chief Hartwell requested two high-priority trauma alerts through Littleton Regional Healthcare and coordinated additional transport resources with the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART). Both patients were initially transported to Littleton Regional Healthcare before being transferred for higher-level trauma care in Lebanon.

Recalled personnel staffed Ambulance 1 to maintain emergency medical coverage in Littleton during the incident. New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers also responded to investigate the off-road collision. The patients' subsequent conditions were not available in the initial report.
