Benton, Pa. — October 16 — The Benton Fire Company recently completed two busy weeks of fire safety education, visiting local schools and welcoming groups of students to the station as part of Fire Prevention Week.

Children learned about smoke alarms, family escape plans, and the importance of staying calm during an emergency. Smokey Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog made special appearances, helping to engage the young audience and reinforce safety lessons in a fun, memorable way.
