Lehighton, Pa. — October 20 — The Lehighton Fire Department participated in a multi-company drill Sunday evening at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus, joining Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company, Palmerton Fire Department, and Parryville Volunteer Fire Company #2.
Lehighton responded with five apparatus—Engines 512 and 514, Ladder 523, Rescue 551, and Utility 575—staffed by 28 firefighters. The exercise focused on inter-agency coordination and hospital response operations, helping crews practice communication, equipment placement, and command procedures.
