Harrisville, Pa. — October 19 — The Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company hosted a multi-company incident training this weekend, bringing together firefighters from West Sunbury, Marion Township, and Harrisville for a day of hands-on, scenario-based learning.

Crews trained side by side on vehicle stabilization, school bus extrication, and other simulated emergencies designed to strengthen coordination, communication, and operational efficiency during complex incidents.

The department expressed appreciation to Pry’s Towing and Montgomery Block for providing support and resources that made the training possible.

Officials emphasized that continued joint training between neighboring companies ensures readiness and reinforces the shared goal of keeping local communities safe.
