Upper Deerfield, N.J. — October 17 — Upper Deerfield Fire Dept. – Station #33 visited a local preschool to teach children about fire safety and introduce them to the township’s emergency equipment.
Firefighters demonstrated basic safety practices, explained what to do if a smoke alarm sounds, and helped students understand that firefighters in full gear are there to help during an emergency. Crews also gave the children a chance to see a fire truck and its tools up close.
