Closter Firefighters Teach Fire Safety at Hillside School

Closter, N.J. — October 8 — Closter Volunteer Fire Department members visited Hillside School to teach students about fire safety at home.
Firefighters spoke about smoke alarms, home escape plans, and how to respond in case of a fire. Students also had the chance to see the department’s gear and equipment up close.
The visit was part of the department’s continued effort to promote early fire safety awareness and strengthen community engagement through education.
