Millville, Del. — October 2 — At 8:03 p.m., Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. was dispatched to assist Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company for a motor-vehicle collision on Route 1, just south of the Indian River Inlet Bridge.

The crash involved three vehicles, one of which had overturned with the driver trapped inside. Crews from Millville’s Rescue 84 and Bethany’s units used hydraulic tools to remove the vehicle’s roof and extricate the injured operator.
