Glen Rock Fire Department Assists Hawthorne at Multi-Alarm Fire

December 1, 2025 — At approximately 1:20 p.m., Engine 833 from the Glen Rock Fire Department was requested to respond on the working fire assignment to Hawthorne for a structure fire that quickly escalated to multiple alarms.
Upon arrival, Glen Rock firefighters assisted with primary and secondary searches, ventilation operations, and overhaul as additional resources were called to the scene. Crews operated for roughly four hours before returning to service.
The Glen Rock Fire Department extends its appreciation to all responding agencies for the coordinated efforts that helped bring the incident under control.
