September 27, 2025 — Seven members of the East Freehold Fire Company proudly represented their department at the Project Lakeview Inc. “Pulling for Heroes” Fire Truck Pull — and brought home first place.

The friendly competition challenged teams to pull a fully loaded fire truck over a set distance, testing strength, coordination, and teamwork. East Freehold’s crew demonstrated outstanding effort and unity, securing the top spot among participating teams.

The department congratulated all members who took part, noting the event’s success in supporting a great cause and strengthening camaraderie within the local fire service community.

“Nice job, boys!” the department wrote — celebrating both the win and the spirit of teamwork that defines their volunteer firefighters.
