Allenhurst Fire Department and First Aid Squad Unite for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October 2025 — The Allenhurst Fire Department and First Aid Squad are proudly joining millions across the nation this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Just as firefighters and EMTs work together to protect the community in moments of crisis, they are now standing together to honor survivors, support those currently battling the disease, and remember the loved ones lost to breast cancer.
“As first responders, our mission has always been to protect lives,” the department shared. “This month, we extend that mission beyond the front line—by raising awareness, showing compassion, and wearing pink as a symbol of hope and unity.”
The Allenhurst Fire Department and First Aid Squad encourage residents to join them in spreading awareness, supporting local cancer research initiatives, and reminding loved ones about the importance of early detection and regular screenings.
