Quick Action by School Staff and Fire Crews Keeps RVRHS Incident Under Control

Mount Holly, N.J. — October 15: Following reports of a minor smoke condition in the cafeteria, Westampton Township Emergency Services, Ladder 5015, and Engine 5011 responded to an alarm activation at Rancocas Valley Regional High School on Wednesday morning. The kitchen's burned food was the source of the smoke, which was contained before it spread. When the alarm went off, school personnel promptly evacuated the students in accordance with established safety procedures. Students were never in danger because the smoke was promptly reduced and the building was evacuated without any problems.
