October 2 — Clayton, N.J. — The Clayton Fire Company took delivery of its new 100-foot E-One ladder truck, marking a major milestone after years of planning and coordination. The new aerial replaces a 30-year-old ladder, significantly enhancing the department’s firefighting and rescue capabilities.
Before the ladder is placed into service, members will complete factory and department-level training to ensure safe and effective operation. The department extended its thanks to the Mayor, Borough Council, and the USDA for their support in funding and approving the purchase.
