South Essex Fire Recruits Complete Advanced Training

October 10 — South Orange, N.J. — The South Essex Fire Department continued advancing training this week as five recruits completed Firefighter II certification at the Bergen County Fire Academy, while another progressed through Firefighter I training at Morris County Fire Academy.
At the same time, Chief Alvarez attended the FDNY High-Rise Symposium in New York City, gaining updated tactical knowledge to enhance department training. The department emphasized that continuous education keeps members sharp and ready for any response.
