Engine 661 and Truck 665 Handle Baldwin Court Gas Line Emergency

October 12 — Roseland, N.J. — On Sunday morning , the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Baldwin Court after a contractor struck a natural gas line.
Engine 661, Truck 665, and Command 660 arrived and checked the residence for any presence of natural gas. Firefighters continued to monitor gas levels and maintain scene safety until PSE&G’s Dig Crew arrived to secure and repair the damaged line.
The incident was handled without injury or property damage, thanks to a coordinated response between fire personnel and utility crews.
