As part of their ongoing fire prevention awareness campaign, Bordentown firefighters visited Fountain Woods Elementary School in the morning of 09 October 2025 to educate students about fire safety. During the session, firefighters discussed how to handle emergencies and emphasized the importance of safe practices at home. Students learned about having a fire escape plan, using fire extinguishers, and maintaining smoke detectors. The firefighters highlighted that knowing and practicing fire safety can help save lives. The visit was marked by the students’ smiles, curiosity, and enthusiasm, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
