Wall Breach Exercise Reinforces Firefighter Safety Training

Westfield, N.J. — October 7, 2025 — Using a recently acquired structure, members of Tours 3 and 4 in the Town of Westfield conducted a multi-evolution training session that included search and rescue, ladder work, and survival training focused on the wall breach maneuver. The goal of the exercise was to get firefighters ready to move between rooms in the event that traditional exits are blocked.
