Hasbrouck Heights, NJ - Chief 60, Chief 61, Chief 62, Squad 1, and Engine 2 responded to Route 17 North near Franklin Avenue for a multiple vehicle accident with reported entrapment. Upon arrival, chiefs confirmed one driver was heavily trapped and unconscious. A 10-30 was transmitted, requesting additional assistance from the Wood-Ridge Fire Department. Crews worked together to extricate the driver, who was then transferred to EMS for medical care. The department extends its thanks to the Wood-Ridge Fire Department for their assistance on the scene.
