Dennis Fire Leads Major Mutual-Aid Response

Dennis Township, N.J. — October 1 —
On Wednesday evening, Dennis Fire and multiple mutual-aid companies responded to a barn fire on the 800 block of Sunset Road in Belleplain. Crews arrived to find the structure fully involved and a nearby home threatened.
A second alarm brought additional units from surrounding towns. The fire was placed under control by 7 p.m., with crews remaining until 11:45 p.m. for overhaul. No injuries were reported, and all animals were safe.
The Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
