FREEDOM, NH - Around 1:30 P.M. on the afternoon of Saturday, October 8th, the Freedom Fire Department responded to a report of a golf cart accident at 196 Old Shawtown Road, the Danforth Bay Camping and RV Resort. Companies arrived to find a single-vehicle accident involving a golf cart with multiple injuries on-scene. Ambulances from Center Ossipee Fire, Conway Fire and two ambulances from Action EMS responded to the scene. Four victims total were transported to Memorial Hospital in North Conway for treatment of their injuries. The extent of the injuries is unknown. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
