Working Fire Damages Fair Lawn Chinese Restaurant

FAIR LAWN, NJ - On October 5th at approximately 5:30 PM, the Fair Lawn Fire Dept., under the command of Chief Ralph Rinaldo, responded to the report of a fire at the Great Wall Chinese restaurant located at 22-11 Broadway. On arrival, units found a working fire in the wall, behind one of the stoves in the kitchen. There was extensive damage to the kitchen area, but the fire was contained to the kitchen, with no extension to the roof. There were no injuries, and units were back in service in approximately one hour.
