LFD Responds With Ladder and Engine for Major Mutual Aid Call

Litchfield, Conn. — September 27 — The Litchfield Fire Department provided mutual aid to Torrington overnight for a third-alarm structure fire. Since more crews were required to contain the situation, LFD was sent out at 12:53 a.m. with Ladder 1 and Engine 1 to help the Torrington Fire Department. Firefighters from Litchfield supported scene operations and fire suppression throughout the early morning hours before clearing at around 5:50 a.m.
