Sheldon Fire Leads Solar Array Safety Walk-Through for Local Firefighters

Sheldon, Vermont — September 5 — Members of the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department, Highgate Fire Department, Franklin Fire Department, Enosburgh Fire Department, and Sheldon Fire Department participated in an educational tour of a brand-new 5-megawatt solar array in Sheldon. The session, which was led by the site manager and electrician from Green Spark Solar, gave roughly thirty local firefighters important knowledge about solar technology and safety issues.
