St. Albans, Vt. — September 11 — On Thursday, the St. Albans City Fire Department took a moment to remember the nearly 3,000 people who died on September 11, 2001. The department honored the 343 FDNY firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics who lost their lives while performing their duties and saving the lives of others.
