Fall River, Ma. On Thursday October 1st. The City or Fall River placed a long overdue pumper in service. Members, Officials, and the public gathered at the Reney/ Eastwood Fire Station in the Flint section of the city. Fire Chief Bacon welcomed everyone followed by the Pledge Of Allegiance and a opening prayer by the Fire Department Chaplin Michael Racine. Mayor Coogan offered some remarks followed by the traditional " wet down" and the traditional "push in" of the new Spartan Emergency Response Pumper. Fr Racine them blessed the truck and the members who will ride on her followed by the official radio call placing the truck in service.
