Bayonne OEM Honors Chief Geisler on Retirement

Bayonne, N.J  — September 25 —The Bayonne Office of Emergency Management announced the retirement of Police Chief Robert Geisler after seven years as chief and more than three decades in law enforcement. Geisler guided the department through the COVID-19 pandemic, supported officers with modern equipment, and strengthened public-safety operations.

Bayonne officials and the OEM thanked Geisler for his long service and leadership. Acting Chief Joe Scerbo has assumed command as the department moves forward.
