DELMAR, NY - Delmar and Slingerlands fire departments responded to a fully-involved car fire at 814 Delaware Ave just after noon on Thursday, September 14th. A large column of black smoke could be seen before crews arrived. Arriving units found a fully-involved car fire in the roadway, requiring the road to be shut down. Delaware Avenue was closed from Van Dyke Road to Fisher Boulevard during the incident. All occupants made it out of the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
