September 17, 2025 — The Angola Volunteer Fire Department recently conducted live training using its burn trailer and a custom-built maze designed to simulate hallways and complex building layouts.
The exercise focused on strengthening communication, hose advancement, and fire suppression techniques under realistic conditions. Firefighters practiced maneuvering through tight spaces while coordinating their efforts, ensuring readiness for real-life emergencies.
The department extended its thanks to CIRVFD Fire/Rescue, Lawtons Fire Department, and guest instructors who participated, helping make the training a success.
