Westville, N.J. — August 30 — The Westville Fire Department assisted Taskforce 21 companies at a working dwelling fire on West Broad Street early Saturday morning.

Crews were dispatched just before 7 a.m. to a two-story single-family home with fire reported on the second floor. Command was established by Chief 1701, with additional chiefs from Districts 18, 19, and 701 coordinating operations. Multiple engine, squad, and ladder companies responded to the scene, supported by a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) from Rescue 22 under the direction of Chief 22.

Westville Fire Department’s Chief 701 and Rescue 738 were assigned to assist with salvage work on the first floor, overhaul operations on the second floor, and securing of utilities.
